Contract Hire and Leasing from 123 Car Leasing

Car Leasing Deals in 2010

First of all a Happy New Year to everyone and as we embark on 2010 we wonder what sort of deals will be most prominent in 2010. Last year saw the motor manufacturers trim back on production which means two things for the leasing industry; longer lead times and less of the insane stock clearance offers. Ok this means there may not be as many super cheap offers allowing customers to get cars outside of their ordinary budgets but the positive side of things is that car leasing deals will become more consistent.

The other important factor to consider is the demise of the scrappage scheme. This will see less in the way of 10 year old cars taking over the small car stock meaning that we will see more small car deals than last year. Our hot tips for small cars would certainly be Seat Ibiza leases, Suzuki Alto and Renault Clio.

If you’re looking a mid-sized car then Renault Megane and Vauxhall Astra are certain to figure highly with some great sub £200 offers that mean leasing a Vauxhall or Renault could be good news still in 2010. Our top tip for a larger family car would still be the Mazda6, consistently priced due to strong residual values from £259 to £289 plus VAT month, this is likely to be the case through 2010.

At the premium prestige end of the market expect to see some changes, Mercedes resolved stock issues last year so it’s likely Mercedes leases will increase by circa £30 per month. BMW await the the 5 series but BMW 3 series lease deals should also prominent. Audi will continue from strength to strength the only downside being extended lead times of up to 3 months!

All in all it’s set’s to be a simple year with consistent pricing and some great car leasing deals. Why not make 123 Car Leasing your contract hire provider in 2010?
